Scenario
Manager is unable to see a direct report under the My Team portlet on the Manager's tab of the Employee Center.
Solution
Check if the Employee Center role has access to the Subsidiary assigned to the manager's missing direct report.
1. View the Subsidiary assigned to the missing direct report
- Go to Lists > Employees > Employees
- Direct Report's Employee Record: Click View
- Take note of the assigned Subsidiary
2. View the Employee Center role assigned to the manager
- Go to Lists > Employees > Employees
- Manager's Employee Record: Click View
- Click Access tab
- Take note of the assigned Employee Center role
- Go to Setup > Users/Roles > Manage Roles
Note: Use Administrator role. - Manager's Employee Center Role: Click Edit
- Subsidiary Restrictions:
- Selected Subsidiaries: If not selected, add the direct report's Subsidiary
- Click Save
