Scenario
This article provides a replica of amounts shown on your Income Statement report through Saved Search
Solution
- Navigate to List > Search > Saved Searches > New
- Click Transactions
- Search Title: Enter the Name of the Saved Search
Example: Transaction Saved Search - Income Statement (Jan 2020) - Click Criteria
- Go to Standard > Filter
Note: Always click Add after selecting the Filter/s.
- Select Account Type
- Select Any Of
- Highlight the following:
- Income
- Cost of Goods Sold
- Expense
- Other Income
- Other Expense
- Click Set
- Select Posting
- Mark Yes
- Click Set
- Select Period
- Click the Drop-Down Field
- Select the Accounting Period needed for the report (ex. Jan 2020)
- Click Set
- Click Results
- Output Type: Report
- Mark Show Totals Checkbox
- Go to Columns > Field
Note: Always Click Add after selecting the Field/s.
- Select Date
- Select Period
- Select Account
- Select Document Number
- Select Amount
- Select Memo
Note: Add or Remove other fields as needed.
- Click Save and Run or Preview
Notes: For One World Account, there might be a need to add the Subsidiary Filter in the Criteria and the select an appropriate option in the Consolidated Exchange Rate Dropdown under Results.
