Display Contacts Only With Email Addresses in a Contact Saved Search to Use in a Dynamic Contact Group

Scenario

A user would like to create a Contact Saved Search that displays Contacts with email addresses only. The Contact Saved Search is to be used in a Dynamic Contact Group. The group is then to be selected as a Target Group in their upcoming Campaign.

Solution

1. Navigate to Lists > Search > Saved Searches > New
2. Click Contact
3. Search Title: Enter Search Title
4. Click Criteria
5. Filter:
• Select Email
• Email: Select is not empty
• Click Set
6. Click Save

1. Navigate to Lists > Relationships > Groups > New
2. What kind of group would you like to create?: Select Dynamic
3. What kind of members would you like to include?: Select Contact
4. Name: Enter Name
5. Saved Search: Select the created Saved Search
6. Click Save
