Creating Dynamic Allocation for the first time.
- Make sure that the following features are enabled:
- Enable Statistical Accounts by navigating to Setup > Company > Enable Features > Accounting
- Enable the Dynamic Allocation feature by navigating to Setup > Company > Enable Features > Accounting > Advanced Features section
- Setup unit of measurement by navigating to List > Accounting > Unit of Measure > New
- SuiteAnswer ID 28138 - Setting Up Units of Measure
- Setup statistical account by navigating to List > Accounting > Account > New
- SuiteAnswer ID 36449 - Creating Statistical Accounts
- Create Saved Search for Statistical Schedule
- SuiteAnswer ID 36452 - Defining a Saved Search for a Statistical Schedule
- Create statistical schedule by navigating to Transactions > Financial > Create Statistical Schedule
- SuiteAnswer ID 36450 - Creating a Statistical Schedule to Run a Saved Search
- Generate Statistical Journal Entry. Upon saving the newly created statistical schedule, hit the Create Journal Entry button.
- Create Allocation Schedule by navigating to Transactions > Financial > Create Allocation Schedule
- SuiteAnswer ID 7740 - Creating Expense Allocation Schedules
