Saved Search Edited and Saved Using the Save As Button Does Not Appear in the Saved Search List

Scenario

The Saved Search is shared to a Custom Role and is set to Allow Audience to Edit. When user with Custom Role edits the shared Search, user only has option to Save As.  When user selects Save As, the Search Title was not changed. The Saved Search no longer appears in the Saved Search List.

Solution

1. Navigate to Setup > Users/Roles > Manage Roles
2. Custom Role: Click Edit
3. Click Permissions
4. Click Lists
5. Permission: Select Publish Search
1. Level: Select Create
6. Click Add
7. Click Save

Note: When user with custom role, edits the saved search, the Audience, Roles, and Email subtabs shows up. This will retain the criteria under these subtabs when user clicks on Save As. Without these tabs, the system removes the criteria set on the subtabs making the search private.
