Scenario
Users are getting the prompt message "Notice : The currency on the transaction, XXX is different from XXX, the currency of the entity, XXX on this transaction." when they try saving the Vendor Bill transaction that they created. One possible reason is that the Currency was not set up on the Vendor record.
Solution
Below are the steps to follow to resolve the concern:
- Navigate to Setup > Accounting > Accounting Lists
- Filter:
- Type: Select Vendor Category
- Click Edit on the Tax Agency
- Tax Agency: Remove Checkmark
- Click Save
- Global Search: Input the Vendor record for the Subsidiary being used on the Transaction
- Click Edit on Vendor record
- Financial:
- Currencies: Add the Currency stated in the prompt message
- Click Save
- Navigate to Setup > Accounting > Accounting Lists
- Filter:
- Type: Select Vendor Category
- Click Edit on the Tax Agency
- Tax Agency: Enter Checkmark
- Click Save
- Redo the Vendor Bill and see if the error will be eliminated
