This error is typically generated if posting period is spelled incorrectly, inactive or closed.
Solution:
To Check if the period is Inactive:
- Navigate to Setup > Accounting > Manage Accounting Periods
- Show Inactives: Enter Checkmark
Note: If the Period in the error is inactive, uncheck the Inactive Checkbox
To Check if the Period Name is spelled correctly or Still open:
- Navigate to Setup > Accounting > Manage Accounting Periods
Note: Find the Period on the error and check if the name is correct. If there is an icon on the Period Close then it is already closed.
