Scenario

To display the Item Currency based on the Subsidiary portlet in the web store

Solution

  • The Correct Currency should be set in the Subsidiary
    1. Navigate to Setup > Company > Subsidiaries
    2. Click the Edit link next to the subsidiary. The Currency field is uneditable once the subsidiary has been saved, and it needs to be selected correctly for that subsidiary.
  • The Currencies need to be Online in Setup Website
    1. Navigate to Commerce > Websites > Website List > Edit website
    2. Go to the Shopping tab.
    3. Mark the Online checkbox for the currencies you would like to display in the web store.
    4. Click Save.
  • The Price has to be set for Currencies to be Displayed in the Webstore
    1. Navigate to Lists > Accounting > Items.
    2. Click the Edit link next to the item record.
    3. Navigate to the Pricing tab. Click on the currency tab that you would like to display in the web store. For example, if you would like to display both USD and AUD in the web store, the Base/Online Price has to be set for both USD and AUD in the item record.
    4. Click Save.

Note: If you would like to set the item price for only 1 currency and use the currency exchange function in NetSuite to automatically convert the price in the web store, the Currency Portlet will be the one responsible for changing the item price. This cannot be accomplished through the web store Subsidiary Portlet.
