Scenario

A user disposed fixed asset with Sale as disposal type. However, user encountered an error: "TRANS_UNBALNCD - Transaction was not in balance."

Solution

User must check if the Sales Tax Code set in the Asset Disposal page matches the Tax Item set on the Customer Record. A user can check this by doing the following.

1. Navigate to the Lists > Relationships > Customers
2. Click View beside the customer
3. Go to Financial tab
4. Tax Information subtab: Go to Tax Item field

Note: The tax code set under Tax Item field on the customer record must match the Sales Tax Code set in the Asset Disposal page.
