Resolve Error: "No Match" on Expense Report when entering Job/Project on Expense Report

Scenario

Customer is encountering a "No Match" error on Expense Reports when entering a Job or Project name under Transactions > Employees > Enter Expense Report > Expenses.

Solution

This error will be encountered when the Employee is neither assigned as a Resource for the Job nor the Job record preference Limit Time and Expenses To Resources is enabled or both.

The customer can either assign the Employee as a Resource on the Job or Project record or remove the checkmark on Limit Time and Expenses To Resources.

To assign an Employee as a Resource for a Job or Project:

1. Navigate to Lists > Relationships > Jobs or Projects

2. Edit the Job or Project record

3. Navigate to Resources subtab

4. Click New Resource Allocation button

5. Resource field: Enter Employee's name

6. Click Save

To remove the Limit Time and Expenses To Resources preference:

1. Navigate to Lists > Relationships > Jobs or Projects

2. Edit the Job or Project record

3. Navigate to Preferences subtab

4. Uncheck the Limit Time and Expenses To Resources

5. Click Save
