Scenario

User processes Asset Disposal but it Failed with error:SSS_MISSING_REQD_ARGUMENT: parse: Missing a required argument: value.

Solution

1. Navigate to Fixed Assets > Lists > Assets
2. Search the Fixed Asset record for disposal
3. Click View
4. Click General tab
5. Set value for the following fields:

Depreciation Start Date
Depreciation End Date
Last Depreciation Date
Target Depreciation Date
Depreciation Active: Select True

6. Click Accounts tab
Set the value for all the Accounts field

7. Click Save

Note: If fields in the Asset record are correctly populated, open the Alternate Depreciation/s record in the Depreciation History tab. In the General Tab, the same set of fields must be set correctly. Once the fields are populated, dispose the asset again. The warning message shall no longer appear.
