Unable to Set the Reminder Type and Reminder Time on New Event When All Day Checkbox Is Checked

Scenario

User needs to set the reminder type and reminder time on New Event when All Day checkbox is marked.

Solution

  1. Edit Event
    1. Navigate to Activities > Scheduling > Events
    2. All Day: Enter Checkmark
      Note: Reminder Type and Reminder Type are greyed out
    3. Navigate to Activities > Scheduling > Events
    4. Click Edit Event
    5. Reminder Type: Select Type
    6. Reminder Time: Enter Time
      Note: Changing the Reminder Type and Reminder Time is now available for Editing even with All Day checkbox is marked.
    7. Click Save
  2. Set User Preferences
    1. Navigate to Home > Set Preferences
    2. Click Activities tab
    3. Reminder Type: Select Type
    4. Reminder Time: Enter Time
    5. Click Save
    6. Navigate to Activities > Scheduling > Events > New
    7. Reminder Type: Select Type
    8. Reminder Time: Enter Time
      Note: Changing the Reminder Type and Reminder Time is now available for Editing even with All Day checkbox is marked.
    9. Click Save

Note: In Option of setting the Set Preferences, the preferences set do not apply to any other NetSuite users. Changes made are specific to the NetSuite role.
