Scenario:
Discount Itemrecordsthat indicatesNegative Rate(E.g.-20.0%) in Promotion records will indeed displayPositive(E.g.20.0%)in transaction records (E.g. Sales Order) by design.
Solution:
NetSuite treats aNegative Discountlike aMark Upitem which will increase the amount the customer owes by the percentage. HoweverPositive Discountin contrary will 'Reduce' the amount owed and should work correctly to reduce item amount by 20%.
