Scenario

User is running a custom Sales by Item Summary Report and noticed that some items display a blank Last Purchase Price but others are displaying the Last Purchase Price correctly.

Solution

If the Multi-Location Inventory Feature is enabled in the account, ensure that there is a selected Preferred Location in the item record by following the steps below:

1. Edit the Item Record
2. Go to the Purchasing / Inventory subtab > Locations
3. Preferred Location: Select the Location
4. Click Save
