If you do not set up DNS CNAME records after completing the "Enter Email Domains in NetSuite" procedure, the FROM headers of emails sent from that particular domain will continue to be rewritten. The example is below.

Therefore, this procedure should be completed by someone with DNS experience.
To set up two DNS CNAME records with your domain provider, follow these steps:
1. Open a new browser window and log in to your domain provider.
NOTE: Refer to your domain provider's documentation for adding a DNS record.
2. Add a DNS record of type CNAME.
3. Copy the necessary information for the DNS record from NetSuite (blue banner or from Show DNS Info popup info and paste it into the DNS record you are adding.
NOTE: Two CNAME records must be added to DNS for each email domain.
4. Enter or paste the first DNS CNAME record from your notepad or NetSuite.
5. Save the record.
6. Add another record to the DNS of type CNAME.
8. Enter or paste the second DNS CNAME record from your notepad or NetSuite.
9. Save the record.
To view the information generated in NetSuite for the DNS record:
1. Navigate to Setup > Email Preferences.
2. Click the Email Domain (DKIM) subtab.
3. Click the Domain Name in the row where you are adding the DNS record.
4. Click the Show DNS Info button
5. The popup will show you the two DNS CNAME records you should copy and paste it on a notepad.
Allow some time for the newly added DNS records to propagate to all DNS servers, which may take several hours. In some cases, it may take up to 24 hours.
In NetSuite, view the status of the email domain. After the DNS records are published, the status changes from "Pending Verification" to "Ready," and there are no messages in the Details column.
