Unable to Link Quote to Opportunity

Scenario
A user wants to link their existing quote record to the opportunity record.

It is standard behavior that users cannot link opportunities to existing quotes. To link opportunities to quotes, users need to use the Create New menu from opportunities.
Solution
  1. Navigate toTransactions>Sales>Create Opportunities>List
  2. OpenOpportunityrecord
  3. ClickSalestab
  4. ClickQuotessubtab
  5. ClickNew Quote
Note:You will see under the quote form that the "Created From" field is inline.
